Abdul
Kareem was born in the ancient city of Babylon, known since ancient times, that
is, since King Hammurabi and Nebuchadnezzar . He was influenced since his
childhood by the history of his town, which was famous for scholars, in 1959.
He grew up, ate and drank from the water of the great Euphrates River, looking
forward to a prosperous future worthy of his city and its ancient past. He was
among the first In his school until he reached the College of Civil Engineering
at the University of Basra in the great south of Iraq and worked in the General
Company for Iraqi Railways (I.R.R) and occupied several important positions in
it with all earnestness and diligence and loved his work and gave a lot in
developing his work and taught his workers to love work and progress in it
until he was referred to retirement December 31 2019 with the degree of civil
engineer consultant .
ولد عبد الكريم في مدينة بابل الأثرية المعروفة منذ قدم الزمان أي
منذ الملك حمورابي ونبوخذ نصر العظمين وتأثر منذ طفولته بتاريخ بلدته التي أشتهرت
بالعلماء وذلك في عام 1959 وترعرع واكل وشرب من ماء نهر الفرات العظيم وهو يتطلع
الى مستقبل زاهر يليق بمدينته وماضيها العريق فكان من الأوائل في مدرسته حتى وصل
الى كلية الهندسة المدنية في جامعة البصرة في جنوب العراق العظيم وعمل في الشركة
العامة لسكك حديد العراق وشغل عدة مناصب مهمة فيها بكل جد واجتهاد وأحب عمله وقدم
الكثير في تطوير عمله وعلم العاملين معه حب العمل والتقدم فيه حتى أحيل على
التقاعد بتاريخ 31 ديسمبر 2019 بدرجة مهندس مدني أستشاري
